CURRENT ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS
The Amelia Island Film Festival
prompted a day filled with events and demos at the Island Art
Association. The Island Art Association Photographers
Group premiered their newly created DVD movie.

The Photographers' Group created the DVD
consisting of more than 100 beautiful scenes taken here on this
island paradise. The first edition of 50 copies quickly sold
out and new copies are being reproduced. The images were
selected from several hundred photos taken by the group and the DVD,
set to a musical background, was produced by Digital Village.
Profits from the sale of the DVD will go to the IAA fund for the new
Education Center next to the current gallery/studio building.
Bill Raser gave a presentation on the
"History of Photography" and Karen McFadyen gave an oil portrait
painting demo with Eileen Moore as model. The rest of the day
was spent viewing the Nouveau Art "Art and the Movies" juried show
and meeting and greeting visitors attending the film fest activities
as well as members and patrons.

THE NEW IAA FIRST COAST
COMMUNITY BANK SHOW MAY BE VIEWED AT THE BANK'S GALLERY AT 1790 S.
