Leslie is originally from New York and has a Masters Degree in Special Education from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has lived in Dallas, Tx, Portland, OR and Jacksonville, FL. and currently resides in Fernandina Beach, Fl with her husband . She has been a silversmith for 20 years and began working with Polymer Clay in 2010. Recently, in 2013, she began making Pen & Ink drawings. Leslie makes unique, one-of-a-kind, jewelry pieces and gift items using sterling silver, copper, gem stones, beach glass and many other materials. She has taken numerous classes at the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts. Leslie’s Pen & Ink drawings are influenced by “Zentangles” which is actually fancy doodling. She finds women’s faces to be most interesting to draw. Using her unique style and imaginative designs she creates faces, abstracts, animals and other one-of-a-kind drawings. Leslie is currently an exhibiting member of the Island Art Assoc. in Fernandina Beach and a member of the St. Augustine Art Assoc. She enjoys producing art shows and has been very successful in organizing up to 20 artists for shows in Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach as well as several home shows.
