Dick Hultberg is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art with a BFA in design. He worked 5 years as a Technical Illustrator for the Navy Department, Washington, D.C, then became head of Presentations Section, Goddard Space Flight Center, NASA, Maryland. During his 25 years at NASA, he was charged with running the Goddard Conference Centers, Publications and Printing Sections. Dick retired in 1985, and with wife Ellen moved to Amelia Island where he joined the Island Art Association. Since 1987 he has exhibited every year in the Shrimp Festival and received four Third Place Awards in his category. In 2001 he received a First Place Award.
