Graduate of Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, 1973

Retired Fellow member of The American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works; Retired Associate member of The International Institute for Conservation of Historical and Artistic Works.

I work in oil paint, as well as pastel, and watercolor; it depends on subject matter and what visual effect I am trying to express.

Because of my academic training, I consider myself a visualist.

Whether it is cityscape, still life, landscape, or marine painting, the goal is to capture the essence of light, as well as reflected light.

Exhibited at The Salmagundi Club, NY; St. Hubert Geralda, Madison, NJ; Miniature Art Society of Florida, Clearwater, FL; Georgia Miniature Art Society, Atlanta, GA; New Jersey Miniature Art Society, Nutley, NJ; Berkshire Art Gallery, Great Barrington, MA; Waterwheel Art Enterprises Inc. Awards received: Best in Show (painting), New Jersey Miniature Art Society; First Place Award (painting) Ridgewood Art Institute; Second Place (sculpture), Miniature Art Society of Florida; Third Place (sculpture), Miniature Art Society of Georgia.

I am also an exhibiting member of the Plantation Art Guild & Gallery, Amelia Island, FL.

I am currently involved with painting local scenes of Amelia Island, Florida.

I concentrate on architecture and automotive subjects.

I derive inspiration from the works by Colin Page, Timothy Horn, and Bryan Mark Taylor..
