I work in oil paint, as well as pastel, and watercolor; it depends on subject matter and what visual effect I am trying to express.

Because of my academic training, I consider myself a visualist.

Whether it is cityscape, still life, landscape, or marine painting, the goal is to capture the essence of light, as well as reflected light.
