JOHN ABBOTT IS A RETIRED ARCHITECT WHO GREW UP IN JACKSONVILLE ATTENDING ST. JOHNS COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL AND GEORGIA TECH WHERE HE RECEIVED A BACHELOR OF ARCHITECTURE DEGREE IN 1975. AFTER FOUR DECADES OF ARCHITECTURAL PRACTICE, DRAWING AND SKETCHING ARE STILL A JOY.

JOHN’S DRAWING AND PAINTING IMAGES ARE CONJURED UP FROM MEMORY AND OBSERVATION. JOHN LIKES TO EXPERIMENT WITH DIFFERENT SURFACES AND MATERIALS TO ARRIVE AT CREATIVE AND UNIQUE WAYS TO RECORD LIFE’S ENCOUNTERS.
